Default Zenith Carburettor help needed

My No2 MK2* UC is fitted with a Zenith carb, the only marking on it is '350-23C'. This carb has a governor fitted which while probably sensible when being driven by heavy footed soldiers is a pain when driving it now, just when you want a few more revs to steer the governor cuts in. Does anyone have the knowledge / a manual to help me disable / disconnect the governor or can anyone suggest someone who could do this for me, preferably in the UK. I would like to keep this original carb rather than swop to a different type but it looks fairly complicated and I don't what to tinker with what I don't understand and end up with a carb that doesn't work at all.
