Default November ralley

All the blitz bits have been removed from the BBQ area and the Gundagai Antique Motor Club had its ralley at our place this month. There were two ex milatery vehicles, my blitz and Kevin from down the road joined to get club rego on his Jeep so this was his first ralley. We had a great day of yarning and looking through sheds.

some good looking early Holdens there Robert. I had a 1959 FC Holden when I was 18. Wish I still had her now.

The Holden guys are starting to worry that there will soon be more Mecedies in the club than Holdens, and of course the Holden/Ford war is ongoing

After what I brought home this morning it looks like I'll be fighting on the Ford team Vicki wanted a vehicle the family could go to ralleys in so this monster will be it 306,000Km on the clock and not much rust, paint is cracking in places and some trim missing but basically sound

Default Club run

The GAMC run was in Batlow today and as Vicki had the day off we left the boys at home and took the blitz for a drive. We had morning tea then left at one minute intervils on an observation run ending up in a shady park for a picnic lunch we had a great time.

G'day Robert
It was when this model of Ford came out that I stopped liking Fords. They went from the great shapes of the XY and XW to these big tanks. However it seems that with these big ugly brutes you could not kill them with a stick. They just keep going - Safe motoring.

Kind Regards
Lionel

Default rallies

IF vicky,s keen to go to rallies, Oberon is hosting their Steam & vintage fair FEB 19 to 21st, plenty to see and do for the whole family. Last years report by Mathew ( 17 jeeps 3 brens, 60 tractors, the mini club, the 48/215 holden club ) well worth a review.

Default Club run at Kevin's

The GAMC run this month was to Kevin's, a great day and everyone had a good time exploring his sheds. This was the RR's first run.

I'm the other way about 8K's upstream. It's nice and green up here Kevin mowed around the sheds a couple of times to tidy up before we got there. 42 members sighned the attendance book so it was a good rool up.

It was time for Vicki and I to host a club run again. We had the meeting and a BBQ lunch at our place then drove to Kevin's new shed to look at his toys.
