Default Advice on scopes?

I have several no42 mk1 scopes by HBM that are sealed in their dry storage bag since 1976, I think they have isreali markings (I don't know the language). They're like new internally with just light wear on the outside paint.
I've attached a few pics.
I'm using a couple on my enfield rifles and selling off the rest, a friend suggested offering them to armor people as there may be some interest.
They're calibrated to 1400 yards, any idea what vehicle and what gun they're from?
Any idea who'd be interested in such a thing?
thanks...my visit here is getting my adrenalin going, I've been a bit of a tank fan from way back when playing on surplused centurions on the farm in aussie, you all might have started some new and equally bottomless hobby as my brit rifles.lol.
