Default Spares Box

I bought one of these as NOS (still with its stores tag).

They are listed in Ferret CES as the spares box for the Browning 30 Cal and shown here in my Ferret (Sadly moved to a new home to fund other projects).

I suspect you'd find them re-tasked as they are quite a useful box.

Default and Centurion

The box is common to several AFVs/AFV weapons. The 20pdr Tank (as used in Centurion) also had the same tool box, and that would fit your 1950s time line.

The one marked (stamped) CIM is something I have not seen before: CIM usually stands for Classroom Instructional Mounting. The Centurion CIM was essentially a turret gunnery simulator that functioned using a specific CIM 20pdr round.

Thanks for the info, will keep the box for the 2 pdr gun, the tools are available if anyone wants to trade or buy them.

Kevin.
