Thought this image might be of interest, what some people will start with when they restore a Willys Jeep !!

Nothing that a brand new repro body and chassis will put right, then you will have a genuine WW2 jeep :

Looks like the typical movie prop to set fire to or blow up.

Easy peasy restoration in Australia though, where one can buy Jeep bodies for a mere $12.50 each

Yes, I think your right. But to the amazement of a lot of people that day at the auction it did actually sell.

Not as surprised as to the other "WW2" Jeep which was a Postwar / 50's jeep with very little mods to make it wartime one. It sold via the phone, bet he got a surprise when it arrived !!

Default jeeps

I think I have seen them reapear in Belgium . I recognise the jeep with pick up body , and the restored body`s on the side.
