Default Snafu

Hi Geoff,

Can you please check why I get logged in as some one else!

Today I am Tony Smith, but usually it is David Ellery.

This is a little annoying

Thanks,

Brent Delaney

Go into your browser, clear ALL your cookies and history, then login as you. There's no reason you can get in as someone else unless you've picked up their cookies somehow; have you checked your machine for spyware and viruses recently?

Hello, my alternate personality! I have just returned from a trip to NZ, including Wgtn, which explain my virtual presense in your ISP's server. When I signed in there, I came up as David Ellery, too, but when I read a post or sent any PM's, it was as myself. I think it has something to do with the cookie's recognising the server or ISP only, rather than the individual computer's address. It frequently happens to me on NZ trips, but no matter how hard I try, I can never cause any havoc by sending as someone else, nor able to bring up any unread posts that I've already read. No fear, when you log on, any use will be shown as coming from you.
