Default How does one get promoted on MLU?

I have spent nearly six years with Chevytalk.com and I am a pioneer/founder member so now a 'Very Senior Member' and Moderator. In MLU with 1776 posts I am a 'Senior Member'...how does the grading work..with time? postings? Bribes of Tim Tams? Or bribes of frying pans to Ma Yappy? Or licking Master Winnington-Ball's boots with a tongue?

Default BUTTT!

Alex I thought that only General Winnington-Ball had the gift of patronage? Or perhaps Lieut-General Spoelstra?

How does one acquire substantive rank these day? Is there an automatic promotion for length of commission, the quality of the licking of the General's boots, or the quantity of boxes of Tim Tams 'donated' to the General's canteen?

Seriously, I wonder whether those who have served their time in MLU longer than I have, and there are many, or have thousands of postings, again more than I have, should be recognised by invitation from the General Staff?

Default Licking?

I thought General W-B's boots were clean? Probably quite tasty from the years of spitting and polishing!

Dirty Dave out!
