Most certainly!
Yes the Canadian Army in the UK used at least MW and QL trucks. Basically the 1st Canadian Division and no doubtr elements of the 2nd were allocated [purchased for cash] British trucks and cars because they had little transport of their own and this insane in my opinionnbelieve by the British Ministry of Supply/War Office [or at least certain sections] that Britain could supply all Canadian forces' needs as well as the UKs. That was before bombing afffected capacity from August 1940. Those vehicles used were acquired for cash and the money then in theory spent on foodstuffs.
Apart from Bedford, Leyland, Foden, Daimler, vehicles were used off the top of my head. |

UK trucks
Austin 1500cwt trucks were also used by Infantry units. Some were left in France in June of 1940 and replaced by CMPs after the units returned.
