WTB: Iltis
Have managed to persuade the wife that when the tax refund comes in it will be time to buy the Iltis I've always wanted. So, I'm looking for an Iltis to use as a daily driver. I want to keep it CMP spec as a historical military vehicle. Looking for one that will easily pass a safety inspection and is in decent shape. Also looking for a mathing trailer, but of course cost is my limiting factor. Hoping there is something out there that will meet my needs.

While I can't help you on the Iltis, I do still have a few of the trailers available. These were ex-FGH armoured recce trailers, and as such, were almost never used. And if they did use them, it was only on Sundays (thats their parade day).
Anyway, I have some located here in Shilo, and a few still in Winnipeg. Lights were removed by an economy thoughtful military, but I can supply a pair of the earlier (plastic) lamps from the M151s to go with the trailer. They are rust free, and tires are like new. Priced to go at $525 each, and they come with title document from Manitoba.

Sounds great, but I'll have to wait until I have the Iltis in hand before pickup the trailer. Hope you still have one for me then. Would love the lights installed and then I could just drive out and take it home. I'll be in touch. Simon

There are a few of the Iltis available in Wpg. I saw one or more at a dealership in headingly. Next time I am in Wpg I'll have a look and see if there are any left. Good thing is they will likely have it safetied if it's selling from there.
