1 Canadian Parachute Battalion veterans

Here's a snap of veterans of the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion marching into a coliseum in order to pass by the saluting base. Jan de Vries, with pace stick, leads. The parade is an annual event and is called Warrior's Day. It was 19 Aug 06 undeer sunny skies.

Jan de Vries (8 PL, C Coy) was featured extensively as a spokesman during the 60th anniversary of D Day ceremonies, both in Canada and on Juno Beach.
