Extreme ... like tornadoes!

Hi,

I've been paying close attenion to any news about the tornados that hit back home areas and waiting to hear. I have people/relatives living all through that area and I'm waiting to hear how everyone and the properties and all are ... below is from an email I received. I don't know the man (I hear he's in critical condition still) or his wife who was killed ... how horrible and sad

The "Scanterbury" mentioned in the email is now known as "Patricia Beach" ... and is just a spit from where we lived in Balsam Bay and Beaconia, and those places are mentioned in the news where the tornado went through. Scarey stuff.

I understand the tornados travelled a path into and through some parts of Ontario as well? I hope that if any of you that may live in any of he tornado paths are okay, along with your properties!!!

Hi there, have you seen the news about the tornado that hit Gull Lake
and Stead? We were lucky and it was about 1/2 mile from our house. Our
neighbours down the road have a terrible mess to clean up. There garage
was flattened, a line of trees down, shed roof hanging in a tree, its
awful. I feel so sorry for them. It was worse mess in Gull Lake. It
hit a trailer park. Total devestation. One woman age 64 lost her
life,and her husband lost his legs. There is so much damage everywhere.
We were at Scanturbury at the horseshoe tournment when it hit. Was
scared to go home, cause we didnt know if our house was hit or not. We
seen the tornado forming. Thats the first time (and the last time I want
to see one) its very scary! There is debree everywhere! Its gonna take
a long time to get cleaned up. You can see by Gull Lake pit (on the 59)
where it jumped across the road. The trees are flattened and snapped
off like twigs. You will see when you come home. Anyway, didnt know if
you heard or not , just wanted to let you know we are all ok here.
