L/F Canadian source for 5.75" headlights 6 volt
Looking for someone who stocks the older round 5.75" hi/lo headlights.
Can't seem to find them here in Canada for less than $50 for a seeling repop. Not fussy about the brand just want something inexpensive for my 45mb. Thanks Sean |

What about semi-seals? Then you can put in halogens?

The bulb you want is a 4031 sealed beam. These, along with the other sealed beam headlamps, used to be common and cheap....but that was 40 years ago. Not so anymore. NAPA doesn't even list that particular bulb these days.
I see listings for them in the US at $10 and $20, but the shipping and exchange all brings it back up to that $50 mark. I went through this myself a while back looking for the PAR36 bulb with hi and lo beams. After going through all the various listings on ebay, I found a company that had obviously listed their postage too low so bought a pair. |
