Default 1 September, 1939

Most importantly, today is the 65th anniversary of the start of the 2nd World War.

Poland Recalls Nazi Invasion - The ceremony began to the wailing of sirens on the Westerplatte peninsula in the Baltic port of Gdansk at 4:45 a.m., the exact time that the German ship Schleswig-Holstein shelled the depot and its 182-strong garrison on Sept. 1, 1939, starting the war that left an estimated 50 million dead, including six million European Jews at the hands of the Nazis.

Ah, quite so, but it gets tricky in early July here; as many Americans have remarked to me:
"You don't have the Fourth of July do you."

"No" says I, "We go straight from the third to the fifth."

HIPPY???

Hippy's don't like me.
What makes you see me as HIPPY?:
(other than being an archetypal fool at times? )

LITERAL HIPPY SORE-Y NOBODY NO TOUCHEE OR I KEEEEEEL!

Never touch a wounded woman! Especially if she wilds a frying pan because mark my words, she will be DE-lighted to us said weapon. If I'm in pain, then I figure you should be too... WHUMP!

Shades of Laugh In!

Now we'll have the Hippy Dippy Yappy Yippy weatherman.

"Winnipeg will be dark tonight, however the sun's rising will bring
daylight. There's a 50% chance of anything happening, so be prepared. While the Coriolanus effect presupposes counter clockwise rotation, there is still a strong possibility that clockwise rotation might occur, depending on the Pliaedes shower and the offset rotation of the people at Portage and Main".
