Yes, Feb 1922 although the actual day is lost, and as 2MT on 430KHz then 850KHz until the more formal transmissions on 11 May 1922 as 2LO. You're right though, the regular transmissions started 14 Nov 1922.

Surprised you still get 2LO in Oz, but whatever, 1.5Kw should do it; I have to admit, my old valve radio receives The Home Service rather than the new-fangled Radio 4.
