Default Indian pattern Chev

Can anyone help identify this style of numbering, is it British. On the bonnet of a Indian Pattern Chev, several ended up in Australia during WWII for different reasons.

Hi Wayne,

That style is typical for the Indian Army. I will try to look up some examples.
