Vehicle blueprints
Hello!
I'm looking for a bit of advice. I met a chap today who has a big pile of ex army blueprints for a lot of postwar (just) vehicles ( series 1 landrover, austin champ, ford, dennis, bedford and who know's what else?) But he doesn't know what to charge for them (and I don't know what to offer). So the question is what would the eminent members of the forum suggest was a ball park price? (or even better, has anything similar been sold recently? Cheers Matt. |

Does he have any CMP
I would think that there are really two values one price for original, second would be for printable copies. I know that I’d pay couple of hundred for good quality copies for a set for any of my trucks.
He might be able to do both, would suggest finding what it would cost to have them copied and put on CD. If he is going to look at putting them out on CD should also look at the copyrights to protect his investment in putting them on CD.

Quote:
I'm not a lawyer, but it is expensive to copyright properly, but even more expensive to defend your copyright... A good idea but the commercial value would probably make the effort impractical...

Good Point Alex
Good point Alex- This would probably argue for only selling paper copies.
