Default Here's one for Hanno

Hi Hanno, here is a scan of a calendar that my Grandfather brought back from Holland.

Mr. Bill Miller said you would be able to identify the great building and where it was located.

Thanks in advance Hanno.

Look out I figured out how to use my scanner!

Hi Jason, it is Soestdijk Palace, one of the four official palaces of the Dutch royal family. Your grandfather probably visited after the war, when the Canadian soldiers ware taken on all sorts of sight-seeing daytrips were arranged to keep them occupied.

Great to see you've worked out how to use your scanner, can't wait to see all your granddad's pics.

Thanks,
Hanno

Thanks Hanno, Bill figured you would know the building and the link that you provided has a great picture of the palace that shows a lot more than the calendar does.

I just noticed on the calendar picture that there is someone cleaning the steps to the palace.

From reading other posts and starting to see how things work in these forums...

Could I be as bold to wonder if this is a pan-inspired set of chores? :
