Hi Kevin,

Nice pics!

Any chance of a bigger sized picture of number 27?
The Windsor's towing 6 Pr's. Did you read the caption by the way? It says "6 inch"anti tank guns

Thanks,

Marc, Go to http://www.airlandsea.info/2008_08_10_archive.html

If you click on the polish pictures posted here on MLU, when the picture opens in the window, click on it again and go 400%.

Found the following picture, just a reminder of what these machines are really about.

Nasty pic that last one. Looks like a shell came through the front, cut the steering wheel and plowed through the poor driver.

But you are right. It is a grim reminder. We need to keep going with this hobby not only to enjoy our beautiful machines but also to show people war is a bloody mess and should be avoided at all cost.

Cheers,

there was a photo doing the rounds a while back with a carrier that had been hit by an 88 right in the center, the carrier was ni-on biforcated front to rear.... the crew would not have stood a chance

Richard, Wouldnt mind seeing that picture richard, here's a welded hull carrier that has seen better days, any of you experts out there can tell if its British built or Canadian built carrier, there is one give away.

Default Kevin

I'd guess a British MkIIIw by the thick rubber rest, and the small removeable glacis plate.
