Default Cab 11 Vs Cab 12

I found this information, I do not know if there is anything else to add to know the differences between cabin 11 and 12

Quote:
The same cab was used from the little 8cwt 4x2 right up to the 6x6 version.

CAB 11 - fixed windscreen, early versions had no air vents later versions had vents added and the doors could be propped open.

CAB 12 - is a distinct production variant from CAB 11 - Windscreen can be opened (6" or so - hinged at top), doors can be propped open 6" or so with hooks, air vents in the front of the bonnet to let air in to the cab, bonnet changed to alligator style - later versions had a rectangular observers hatch let into the roof.

We could start a debate about which one is uglier...

Default Arch bar

Note: the arch bar as fitted to the early Chev. vehicles has a built in twist. In other words, the factory jig was misaligned . My cab 11 has the faulty arch bar fitted. Not sure if this fault was for Chev. only ?

The first type mirror arms were a casting that will not swivel.

Very likely.
Those Fords are gorgeous. No superfluous support bars, and nice clean bumpers.

Despite being a Ford fan, I do have to admit those tow rings that were part of the bumper brackets were not as strong as the D-rings on the bumpers.
