Default WW2 RCEME Hand Tools

Was there ever (and for that matter is there today) a standardized issue kit of hand tools for RCEME personnel?

We live today in a world full of corded and cordless hand tools and often take for granted what is at our disposal that makes working on our vehicles relatively easy. But what about the RCEME personnel in the field during World War Two. Yes, at some level there are going to be the usual heavy, powered shop tools like grinders, lathes and drill presses, either set up in a camp or on a Machinery vehicle of some type, but what about the field expedient need to drill a simple hole in something metal , in a remote location to get something working again?

Would something like a hand held 'egg beater' drill with a set of metal working drill bits, been issued? A rotary hand grinder that can clamp onto something, is another possibility that comes to mind. Things beyond the typical hammers, screw drivers and wrenches we so often think of today.
