Default Cab 12 F15 in Australia

Here's another interesting find... the first I've seen here. A Cab 12 F15.

Can anyone tell more about the body?

This is part of the famous shedfullofshit collection.

Lots more here.

Default truck box

The Oshawa Military Museum has a 1942 #12 cab Ford 15CWT that has the same box on it. The manufacturers name plate list it as being built by Branford Coach and Body from Brantford Ontario.

Default S/M 2002?

The very first order, numerically, for CMPs placed by the British Ministry of Supply was S/M 2002, which included 3,000 F15s for Egypt, e.g Census # Z 4520080 issued to the AIF, and they may have included # 12 Cabs. Those acquired by the Australian Government would have been shipped to Australia in due course.
