Default AWESOME !!! Carden Lloyd 1929 replica FS

http://www.milweb.net/webverts/49853/

obviously it is a replica but what a fantastic job ! i thought that the early Carden Lloyds still used the Horstman Suspension...... will go and dive into Nigels book.

Quote:
A project to manufacture these historically important tankettes from the inter-war period.
It comprises of the completed carrier, the Ford 'T' engine, a second hull, patterns, castings and engineering drawings.
The 'T' engine was rebuilt by Belcher Engineering and has run for no more than two hours.
The completed hull is bolted and riveted, all plate dimensions are accurate.

It is sold as one complete lot including Vickers and tripod for £20,000, no VAT.

I think this is a marvellous piece of engineering. It truely is a work of art. I myself am in the middle of gathering sufficient pictures and drawings to build my own replica. If anyone has any information, please feel free to post it up on here. Merry Christmas
