Default Hi From a New Member

Hi everyone:

Just joined the forum, looks like there are a lot of subjects that I will be interested in having been a Champ owner in the 1960's and still involved in preservation, albeit mainly stationary-engine related these days.

With my wife, Rita, we run a couple of large websites for preservation people, the urls are in my sig (which should appear below) access is free, no registration required, comments always welcome.

We have just acquired a couple of BSA Charging Sets and will be looking at getting them running before our next show which will be in Nuenen 2009, so some parts will be needed.

I am an acting moderator on two other forums, so the layout and operating side of this forum looks quite familiar

Hope to be able to contribute to the forum over the coming months and years.

Peter

Default Welcome

Good to have you here, Peter.

I'm sure you'll find hours of fun going through all the posts - there are a few people here already who are interested in small engined things.

Thanks, Keith, some of the stuff isn't that small, we have a big Lister JK4 genset in storage, and some interesting Caterpillar single-cylinder research diesels that weigh about a ton each!

I have found some Chore-Horse and BSA manuals on the web, so will be looking at those this week.

Do you recognise this vehicle?

http://www.stationary-engine.co.uk/P...tland08520.htm
or on the US server at:
http://www.oldengine.org/members/die...tland08520.htm

There are a couple more pictures (8521 and 8522) if you go back to the local menu and scroll down, there are 24 pictures per menu.

That was at Portland (Indiana, USA) last month, in the Gas Engine & Tractor Show. Nifty little device, I could have taken that one home!

Regards,

Peter
