Bob, I will (maybe) forgive your comment if you only looked at the timy preview picture. Otherwise you need to get either your monitor or your vision checked if you can mistake wonderful Dutch orange for (may you be forgiven your insinuations) pink.

Orange on mine as well.

Just how much 'Pink' Gin had you partaken in at the time of viewing Bob?

Yes, I had only seen this on a Dutch C15A before, but not on other Dutch HUPs.

Oh, the usual: Start state, where she was found, any challenges in restoring her, final destination.

Just curious...we HUP types tend to be that way...

Sorry Barry now that I look at it on my screen..... Yes it is Orange....

.... you see I was reading the MLU using a federal government monitor.... a left over from the Liberal era......... makes everything looks either red or Pink......

Brian, I took the photo with the switch turned on but it won't show in the photos.

When Brian, Wilf and I were going to the Coe Hill parade we stopped for a coffee and I was wearing this hat. I couldn't figure out what the lump in the side was for. We found a little switch and it turned out to be a battery for the flashing lights in the front, behind the letters. Dirk gave me this hat a couple of years ago and this is the first I noticed.

This seems to fit in with the headlamps on the bumper. Dutch stuff has lights in unusual places.

Bob I was afraid to say anything about PINK in case it was your family colours or just your preference.
Cheers,
Barry

Default HUP hat

Barry,

Thanks for trying to photograph the flashing lights.

Didn't we all do a great job hijacking this thread?

Sorry Hanno.
