Default Help Tarp ID

I have picked up a duffle bag of webbing and kit, and a couple of extras. One of the extras was a tarp, which I have attached an image. The image shows the tarp to be camo, sort of three or four tone. It resembles (to my untrained eye) one of the patterns of British camo used during World War 2. It measures about 56 inches by about 115 inches. Any ideas as to the purpose or use? It may be impossible to id. It will be available for sale... Tarp is rectangular, I have folded up one edge to show both sides.
