Default camping

Last time I went, I slept in the back of my XF Falcon wagon, in the bowling club car park, the rates were cheap, free ! After sunrise, I spotted a desert yellow Ford ute a hundred yards away , Ian Styles had done the same thing !

Hi all,

There is still some work in progress on the website, but if you check out the KVE News, October issue it will give you a good run down on what is happening. There will be another KVE News coming out in January and for those who do not get it sent by email, it will be on the website and all the latest updates will be in it as well as other interesting articles, including the latest one from Mike Cecil.
Here is a direct link to the latest KVE News:

Default January edition of KVE News

Hi all,
The January edition of KVE News was sent out to those on our database yesterday. To those who don't receive, you can download it straight off our website at www.corowaswim-in.org or click on the link here to go to it directly, it is full of up to date information on the event:
https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/43129...ac526b00db.pdf

The entry form can also be found on the website, but a direct link is here:
https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/43129...e29614b9a5.pdf

Planning is going well for the Corowa Swim-In & Military Vehicle Gathering in March, theme for 2018 being Year of the Land Rover, but that does not stop you bringing any other make or type of military vehicle, the more the merrier. We are encouraging those intending to come, to get their entries in now as there are only a given number of participant packs, which are available for pre-registered entrants. We ask for entries to be received by KVE by 28th February.

For those that are coming, we look forward to seeing you there.

best regards
Richard Farrant
President - KVE Inc.

Scott Rough (Vice President of KVE) and myself received an email today from Graysonline to say they and representatives of Frontline Machinery will be attending Corowa from Thursday to Sunday. We are anticipating they will have some promotional items to go in the participant packs.

We have already allocated 2/3rds of the packs so get your entry in now.

Today I collected some items from Grays that will be going into the pack and last weekend we received items from Frontilne. Wait until you see the hats they will look great. There are some entries from a number of people who haven't been to Corowa before and today I received an entry of 4 Land Rovers from the western district of Victoria. There may be another group coming from the Hillston area with up to 8 perenties and these people have never been before. Land Rover numbers are probably up by 15 on the jeep entries.

Looking at the number of entries I have received each day over the past week I feel confidant that we will have at least 320 pre-registered participants. We have ordered 350 hats which are in production at the moment.

Australian Frontline Machinery and Auctioneers from Grays will arrive during the week with 2 vehicles and will set up a stall.

Hope the tent went together in the end. Two pictures in last years thread when looked at enlarged to 200% show how it fits together. After tomorrow I will only have access to the web when I can get to the library or traveling past old house for one more week.
Have a great week in Corowa see you next year.

Hi Robert,
I found the photo of when you were assembling the frame at home, and printed it off, that helped ........ but after it was fully assembled, your drawing was found in the trailer under all the display boards! I was sure you left one last year, will get it laminated and put on the inside of the door so we know where it is. Thanks, look forward to seeing you next year at the 40th Corowa Swim-In.
This year looks like being a big one!

regards, Richard
