F15 in the Western Desert
This has to be one of the more unusual pictures I've seen of an F15. It's part of an album I'm working on, and it came from Peter Cradddock, whose father took them. I'll put a post here when I have the page finished, but this one was too good to wait for... The truck belongs to 3 Squadron RAAF.

Keith,
That shot reminds of when we shipped my Bedford back from Normandy this June, I ended up on the open deck over the stern with only a small chain barrier across the front. I made extra sure the handbrake was full on and kept going to check she was still there. Good job it was calm, not like the Channel this week. Richard |
