Question Transmission / transfer case Part Numbers

Hey All

I am looking for part numbers for bearings, etc., for my transmission and transfercase. I have a Chev C15 CMP and I got the spreadsheet from here with modern part numbers however it does not have any info for the bearings.

Does anyone have a source of a part number so that I can order what I need to rebuilt both my tranny and t-case?

Thanks
Gary

Default Should be New Departure

Hi Gary

They should all be New Departure Bearings and the numbers are still active. Most bearing supply houses should be able to help you. I use https://www.motionindustries.com/mot...mii/index.html they generally ship within 24 hours most bearings are less expensive through them then through the auto parts store. Find your local dealer on there web site.

Think the only bearing that is not readily available is main shaft pilot which places like http://www.obschevy.com/ have almost everything.

Cheers Phil

Default Thanks

Hey Phil

You Rock!! Thanks a lot, I took my tranny and t-case to a professional place and they said they could not find anything and wanted me to source parts.

I will check those sites and see what I can find.

Thanks
Gary

Default While your getting bearings get the seals

Hi Gary

While you are taking down the New Departure bearing numbers also look at the seals they maybe Chicago Rawhide now known as CR think you will find most of these in the Motion Industry web site as well. It is where I've gotten most of the seals for my trucks. Another thing to look at is speed sleeves to take of the groves in the input and output yokes where the seals have worn a grove into surface.

I've even gotten the big front drum seals from Motion.

Cheers Phil
