Default Modified front end

This was one of several vehicles experimentally modified in Australia to simplify front end sheet metal.

See if you can guess the vehicle before clicking on the link for more photographs.

Keith, on the tray on the passenger side just above the mud guard there is a bracket. I have seen these before but have no idea what they are for, does anyone know ?

Looks similar to a Willys MA Jeep.

The chev that we sent to the AWM still has one on it but I never could work out what it was for.

Hanno, yep that's it, sure is a lovely old truck. Every time I see a photo of the old girl I have to sit and pause for a moment to reminisce.

Then you hop into the carrier to hear that V8 roar as you glide over the countryside (and the sheep) and you think "that's not bad either"

well your right , the sound of a V8 does wounders to cheer me up. Cruising down the road on an old Harley also is good stuff.
