Default late "after action report"

Better late than never they say. Here are some photos of an annual veterans event that started three years ago here in sunny B.C. Grant McAvoy and the CMEC museum have brought school kids together with veterans to interact and give the kids a bit of hands on with militaria. Previously held in Abbotsford it is now at the new home of CMEC in the old Quartermasters warehouse at the former CFB Chilliwack. For those that don't know the base it was the largest army base in B.C. and suffered from the downsizing disease from Ottawa in the 1990s.

There I'm better now. Nothing against Fords honest. Mostly explaining why it is right hand drive.

Default Better late than never.

Thanks for the report Bruce, it's great to see how far the CMEC has come. I remember years ago George telling me of the dream to start the education centre and it's great to see it has come to fruition. Has anyone considered contacting the Engineer museum in Gagetown about possibly getting some Engineer memoribilia? After all, CFB Chilliwack was the birthplace of the R.C.E. I'll definitely put the museum down on my must see list during my next visit back to B.C. Derek.
