CT163013 was my first carrier. I thought it sold last time to Bogdan Gieniewski in North Carolina. Details about this carrier are in this thread:

Default Universal Carrier on ebay

Gentleman,

Just an update. It was sold to me back in January and I sent Chris, the owner, a deposit check to hold it till I got back from overseas (I'm on active duty with the Army) . Just as I was getting ready to pay the rest and pick it up the owner backed out and said that he doesn't want to sell it. He returned my deposit check and I did not want to pursue it if he changed his mind. This is the same carrier and I'm assuming it is really for sale now. I've asked the owner if I can view it this weekend as I will be in Falls Church Va and very close to where this carrier is. I'd like to get but now want to do the dealing face to face if he is serious. Thanks to Rob on the board I know the history of this carrier and as you can see he did up date it and point out that the Armor is screwed on not riveted. I'll update if he agrees to let me view it.

Thanks for all the support and info and hope either I or someone gets it this time at a reasonable price!

Bogdan

I see it is at 30K now, with still two days to go. Several bidders were in the mid 20K range. I would say this is a pretty good indication the recession is almost over.

Default Universal Carrier on Ebay

Gentleman,

Saw the carrier today listed on ebay. I'm not a carrier expert but certainly looks to be in good shape and as complete as they get. I didn't ask him to start it up but he said he drove into it's new location a while back. If someone has any questions let me know. 30K?....
