Administrators wanted

Now that MLU is moved to a new server and a new domain, we seem to have tackled the technical side of keeping Maple Leaf Up. Shawn has done an outstanding job doing do.

Now, running this forum requires some other tasks to be performed, summarised as administrator duties:

• vetting new members (checking their credentials) and approving or deleting them - this is to keep spammers out;
• monitoring the various subforums and threads to check if people behave (which is the case 99.9% of the time on this outstanding forum);
• answering questions of new members and help them posting and attaching pictures, resetting passwords, etc.;
• moving threads to the correct forum, merging threads, etc.;
• editing postings to minimise the amount of quoted text and fixing (picture) links;
• plus maybe some other minor tasks which I cannot think of right now. . .

Doing this requires no IT skills, other than getting familiarised with the Admin functions of vBulletin (the software which this forum is using) so you can carry out these tasks.

Please let me know if you have some spare time to devote on keeping this forum up and running.
