Default RAAF Jeeps

A early MB slatt grill Jeep I bought years ago had the faded blue USA numbers on the bonnet , over which were a few layers of paint, then in white 'RAAF' and a number beginning with 2 from memory , I have the number written down somewhere .

But there is a rumor floating around that is suggesting that the RAAF vehicle registration books have been found. These records went missing for years , my informant is a well respected individual in the MV field.
