Default 2” core plug

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has a spare 2” core plug. It’s for the front of the Chevy 216. I’ve found complete engine sets for sale but I just need the front one. Or any ideas on where I could get one?

Thanks

Jordan,

core plugs should be available from the better reputable wholesaler who might know what such a thing is, should be able to get one in a day or a couple.

Otherwise known as frost plugs, expansion plugs. names confuse folks.

Napa part 260069 at $2.24 should work.

I’ll try to bring you one to OMVA show on Saturday. If you could work up a list of what an engine requires then I can probably work up complete sets for others who have this engine. Brian

That would be great Brian.

I think there was 4 total. Two on the intake side of the engine. I believe they are 1-5/8" frost plugs. The one on the front is a flatter style and is 2". Im not sure what the rear one is. Ill confirm tomorrow.
