Default Universal/Bren gun carrier project for sale

Ok, some of you may have read my previous posts under the "Bren gun carrier wanted" thread. My friend has decided to sell his carrier project. After doing a lot of research we have determined that it appears to be a very early Canadian built version, serial number CB253. The unit is very complete with the armour all intact and uncut, it also still has its original flathead V8 engine. Engine covers, treads, steering wheel and headlamps also come with. Contact the owner, Chad Marshall at 705 888 2421 for further details and price. I also have many pictures of the carrier and parts, so if anyone wants to see anything specific contact me through this forum or email at stevebeer@rogers.com.

Respectfully, no carrier hull is worth 9500 British Pounds....

Consider the fact that a rolling, driveable carrier just sold down East for somewhere around the $12-$13000 CDN range.

I wish the vendor the best of luck in his endeavor.

Adame sold his not so long ago for not much more......complete and restored... I was optimistic when i saw this one as its pretty much complete. I had some concerns with the drivers side front bogey but it may just be sunk under the mud. i have some pics of it if folk want.

best of luck to the seller though i hope she gets saved.

Lynn..... yes matey my disease is very closely monitored... i can hide carriers if they are at affordable prices where i can make money dissapear har har har

Are the early ones commanding some kind of a premium price or just alot of interest? I'm confused. Phil
