Default A moveable feast!

April 21st is Queen Elizabeth II's Birthday, who she shares with Adolf Hitler amongst others. (Well, she doesn't actually share with Adolf, he's way past sharing anything these days!).

The Queen's Birthday Holiday is celebrated on the 1st Monday in June in NZ, the 2nd Monday in June in Aust (except for WA which for some reason celebrates it in Sept/Oct), and in Canada it's Victoria Day or Queen Victoria's birthday! Are we certain we're all part of the same Commonwealth?

Queen Victoria's Birthday used to be celebrated in Aust as Empire Day on May 24 alongside the Monarch's birthday up until 1966 when the two Holidays were combined. It wasn't until Queen Elizabeth was 40 that the last vestiges of Queen Victoria's Empire were removed from the calendar.

God Save The Queen.

I don't care when the real birthday is, any chance to charge my glass is always welcome.
Too bad I am at the shop and 3 1/2 hours away from the Sun being over the Yardarm.

Quite a Lady the Queen.
Edit: I just realized this post is a day old.
I'll just have to double up.

Cheers
Bill
