Stuart, I assume you have noticed that the referenced manual is updated to 1992 to allow for the changeover from the FN to the C7, C8 and C9. I don't know if any other changes were introduced at the same time to trap the unwary.

I don't have that manual. But here are a few leads:
http://www.amazon.ca/Pattern-Webbing.../dp/B00FACIYP6
http://recollections-ab.ca/products/...s-field-manual
I have sent a query to an ebay seller who used to have a copy - will let you know the outcome.

Default Straps

Hey Stuart and Grant

From what I have seen the only real difference between the 80's manual and the 92 revised is the references to the C7 8 and 9 instead of an FN and the C7 bayonet. The straps you are looking for will have no effect on the weapon being carried.

The waist strap sits above the web belt so as not to interfere with pouches or other items being carried on the belt.

BTW I have around 80 complete rucksacks that I purchased from Edmonton so I will take some pictures to show you the 2 different styles of buckle I have and if you want some let me know.

Gary

Default Parts here in Ottawa

Hello Stuart

I know Gregg Wright had a few extra straps and parts from webbing and rucksacks, which he picked up at auctions over the years.

Thanks
Eric
