Default Can anyone ID this Artillery Gun

It is a French 155mm Gun GPF. The americans were also using the same type of gun early in the war, some of which were mounted on the M12 GMC.

was watching the film Battle of the Bulge again today and the Americans where moving a similar weapon on rail flatcars...so Ill plump for 155mm regards malcolm

Thanks for the info. on the back of the photo the German wrote it was british Glad he was wrong

germans are nothing but thorough...he was most likely right...as it may have been manufactured here in the UK under license...regards malcolm
