Default M3a1 scout AOP restoration

Hi
I am new to this forum and hoping i can get some information on my restoration project
I have got an AOP australian m3a1 scout car and am in the process of restoring it, I have tried finding info on the web but am finding it hard to find info and pictures. I am mainly after interior shots showing
how radio was set up
how cable real mechanism was set up
was there a generator and if so how it was set up
Any info would be appreciated

Thanks Eben

Default scout car

Hi Eben and welcome to the forum.
Your AOP M3 wouldn't be the one that recently sold on ebay would it?

Sorry I can't help with the pics your after but you have come to the right place and I'm sure you'll get plenty of help.
All the best.

Hi
no not the recent one that was on ebay, but it was on ebay about 6 months ago. Nice and close seller even drove it to my place rather than organise tilt trays. Scout is in running condition mainly needs a tidy up in the body and paint. The back had been cut off when on a farm so there are some extra weld marks we are going through at the moment to remove.
come with wireless 19 set radio and the wire reel mechanism i just have to work out the location of these.
Have put a couple of images but they arn't the best quality
Thanks Eben

Default Looks pretty good.

Hi Eben,

Sorry I can't help with bits or advice - but she looks pretty good from the pics.

Good luck with her.

Regards

Alex
