Talking Heads Up - Vegemite Wins!

My dear MLU Membership ... especially those of you from the land of Oz .... this is truly a milestone day .... and i just feel compelled to share this milestone with you-all for your own delight and pleasure.

Tonight I cooked a loverly dinner ... kinda hamburger steak with mushrooms and onions in a gravy on top and fed this to our verra own MASTER SUNRAY who was delighted by my culinary expertise and tastey gravy. Yum.

After he tasted it i asked him if he liked it and he answered affirmative LOVE IT! EXCELLENT (he was sincere)

Ingredients of gravy: I made the gravy from scratch on stove top ... blended in a tiny taste of beer and lots of VEGEMITE!!!! Master Sunray's chin is still bruised from falling open hitting the table when I told him the taste he so enjoyed was VEGEMITE!!!!!!

Oops gotts run ... youngest daughter just called me oin phone ... bacck later...

Karmen

Default WAY TO GO!

You're a pioneer, and subversive all in one...

See Geoff, Vegemite is useful for more than just lubricating axle bearings!

Welcome, convert!

I reckon you'll qualify for honorary Aussie citizenship if you keep on like this - well done!
Where did the vegemite come from? Was it the batch I brought over?

I spotted it on the shelf when grocery shopping and scooped it to try. Wanted to know if it tasted like marmite ... Geoff went ... "Oh SH_T" ... a couple of aisles over Geoff grabbed something off a shelf and came running at me with a victorious AHA and shoving a can in my face YELLING ... something like : "Okay ... if you're going to get Vegemite then I'm going to get THIS! (SPAM)" He did! We did. the rest is history

Dave, all this is good, but not enough - you actually have to eat Vegemite, genuinely like it and be able to spell it.
Also owning a Blitz is helpful - an Aussie built one of course.

The "ever after" part of your life isn't going to last long if you keep this up...

Keefy... that's enough out of you, too... she tricked me... 'nuf said.

Dave -- hang in there, buddy... but I concur with Keefy here... you really do have to gag and caak on Vegemite before you can consider yourself 'battle-experienced'. Hell you might even like it! Can't figger out why, though (although if Karmen can eat it right out of the jar, anything's possible)... I can send you some if necessary...

That's enough of perverting a good Canadian product! But I think we DO have to talk Dave into a copy of YEAR OF THE BLITZ, don't you?

A practical joke of the highest order - well done Karmen! But I'd watch out for anything Sunray cooks for you - my guess is he will be taking revenge with Spam someday soon...

Hi Hanno ... thought you'd dropped off the edge of the world... then remembered that it's ROUND therefore you've probably just been busy elsewhere

Regards Jifferoo the VEGEMITE convert-oo ... I do most of the cooking and/or burning meals so Master Sunray doesn't often get to mess with what's served up for din-dins. SPAM would have a hard time finding it's way past me, and into meals! BUT as for that wonderful VEGEMITE taste, he now appreciates the horsepills B-complex I feed him, more, and I swear his eyes cross and he drools now when I hand him a B-Complex with his dinner! They taste just like VEGEMITE!!!! (I won't tell him that they're GOOD for him! Why ruin a good thing )

Regards REVENGE ... well ... he tries But ... I'm onto him!

Don't be silly. He's had two goes round the buoy already, bit of a dab hand at it I'd say.

Sorry we missed the keel-laying ceremony but many congrats and all the best for the launch.

Aye, agreed. But someone has to teach the big bugger the facts of life before he generates enough offspring to bankrupt himself over the next 20 years...

Indeed so, therefore like the rest of us he'll be an old fart before time and money is available for his old army truck.

Karmen, EDD was later re-calculated to March 10 - but it is sometime soon anyway! Not nervous, I'm looking forward to the time that comes. And oh, never mind the old buggers around here with their wise lessons.

Rest assured old farts: more keel-laying ceremonies lay ahead, though no public attendance is allowed. And mark my words: no more launches after this one.
