Default CMP 20 " wheels

Harry

Wish you told me earlier, there was a nice one at White River, Yukon. Also a
C60 dump wreck near by that still had 4 -20" wheels under it. The fellow that owns the camp ground comes and lives on the coast in the winter could be persuaded to part with the one wheel at the campground and bring it down to you at the end of Oct.

Cheers Walde

Default How near?

"near by" is a relative term. How close to the Campground guy and would we know someone who could scrounge them up?

There's something I find strange. When I think of all the CMP parts I've come across, I haven't found a 20" rim yet. Lots of 16s and several 13s but not a 20 anywhere.

They must have sent them all to Australia. We have them everywhere there are Blitz's. They are found on farm irrigators and old street sweepers and many other swords to plough-shears items.

Harry, if they weren't so bl##dy heavy we could ship some to you.

Regards Rick.

Default 20" wheels

recently as i was scouring the internet i found an indian farming site that looked like it was manufacturing and selling 8 bolt cmp wheels.from the pic they looked a bit wider than my stock ones.I've sent an inquiry but have not heard back yet.
My stock wheels need help.the nuts that secure the two halves of the wheel rotted so badly that the only way to get the wheel apart was to grind away the stud from the back side and punch it out.Same story on the three studs/nuts on the down side of all four wheels.
If the indian wheels pan out
http://www.sun-agro.com/tractor_parts.html

from the pic it looks like they are a 16" wheel..damn..got all excited for nothing.
Their website leaves a lot to desire..maybe they dont have all they make listed..i'll hope for the best.
I'm hoping to run a 14-00 20 tire and need at least a 9 inch wide wheel.
If i can get a solution in place my stock wheels will be available to someone who needs them.

Ideas anyone?
I was thinking i'd go with a 20x10 dayton style wheel with a ring welded in for a 1/2" flat plate adapter. Not a two piece combat rim,but i have a similar setup on my M37 to run gama goat wheels and tires..works very well.

Cheers

Corey
