Default m37 body material

i found a m37 (year ?) with shiny metal under paint.Is this a galvanized body or ? it looks like a newer model.

Default Good metal

When I restored my 1953 M37 I found areas where the paint had flaked off only to expose pristine coated steel. It is not unlike the steels that are used today on modern automobiles.
Hard to believe but true.

thanks .the shiny metal is where paint has flaked off but has been exposed to the weather for a few years.
