Default Identification sought, Spare bulb box

I came across this, the seller thinks it is Canadian for some reason and has fitted it to a Ferret for some reason.

I have zero knowledge, what do you know?

The part number on the side is in the american style. Usually adding two zeros to the front along with the stock code would get you the NSN.

I have not seen that particular box before myself.

I won't say that it's not Cdn used, but that it is likely American origin. I also see the US type part number cast into the heavy knob.

I would try it over on the G503 site in the armour section and see if someone there doesn't recognize it. Just because I haven't seen it doesn't mean it wasn't Cdn used.
