Default Nope

Phil

It is like the photo below.
This is a publication used when knocked down vehicles arrived Africa or England I think.
It is only for the C15 4x2
It has 91 photos in and decribes the sequense to put it all together.

Rolf

Looks as if ImageShack has done something so I can not get the photo bigger in here..

Default Not seen one before

In 30 years of searching for CMP information this is the first time I remember the topic of assembly manual coming up. Sounds like a very interesting bit of information.

Cheers Phil

It is very interesting and tells even what wrench to be used were.. It is lots of photos and detaild information in what order to put together a crated CMP.
It is devided int 3 sections. One for the chassis, one for the cab and one for the body.

Default Another one

Phil

I was at my garage today. Just because I was sure I had a similare booklet. This is a rather poor copy. This one is for the 3 ton 4x4 158" wheelbased Chevrolet cab # 13.
The book is from April 1. 1943.

Many of the photos is the same as in the other booklet but of course some spesificaly for the 3 ton.
In this copy I have the frontpage too. Title is:
Unpacking & Assembly Instructions
Boxed MUP
3 TON -- 4x4 -- 158" W.B.
General Service Body
General Motors of Canada

I do not have the time to scan any at the moment. I am off for the rest of the day. Will be back home tomorrow afternoon and will see if I can scan something then and put out.

Chers

Rolf

Default Scan of assembly instructions

I'm sure a scan of the assembly instructions will be popular with the members of MLU, if you have the chance to do it.

I wonder if the people at "The Old Car Manual Project" http://www.oldcarmanual.com/ would be interested in having a copy to put on their web site?

Trying to put in a scan of the frontpage of the 3-Ton assembly booklet.
Remeber it is from a poor copy.
I'll se if I can scan the books sometime during the winter and make pdf files of them for everyone to use.

Rolf scanned his photocopy of this manual and sent it to me to share with the MLU community.

Loads of interesting info, not only for those who have just bought a crated C60L!
