Default US convoys in France, Belgium, Austria,Italy and Germany 1944/5

In 1944/5 the US army established a number of convoy routes including:
Yellow Diamond - supporting 7th Army's advance from Italy, through Austria and into Germany
Red Ball Express - St Lo to Germany
ABC - Antwerp to the Rhineland

I have acquired a quite a number of scanned photos of vehicles on these routes. They're a bit faded and grainy but may be of interest. I'll post a few - please let me know if you want to see more.

Thanks for that. The Red Ball Express ones are interesting as they show mainly GMC-CCKW's where as the others were mainly Autocar tractor units and trailers.

Many thanks

Cheers

This is on the Red Ball Express route. This route lasted for 81 days and at its conclusion the round trip to the battlefront was over 800 miles. In ths period about 500,000 tons of supplies were hauled.
