Cnd WW2 Ike wool Jacket
Hi. This is my first post on this wonderful site.
I am looking for a CND WW2 wool jacket with the buttons that go right up to the collar. Looking for any of the sizes 7-9 for 5'7" to 5'8" Ideally it would have the "4th Princess Louise Dragoons" patch on the arms, but that would be like winning the Lottery. See example in the middle of this page: http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/showthread.php?t=7570 Please contact me if you are interested in selling one, or can guide me to a site that has one for sale. cheers, Rick |

WWII Canadian Ike Jacket!!?
A Canadian WWII Ike Jacket would indeed be 'like winning the lottery' as they were never manufactured. I have though heard of Canadian BD Blouses being produced during the war and I am sure there is someone out there that could easily provide you some 4 PLDG shoulder badges just to make your day.
I think you best answer is go and spend you money on a good repro, that way you can have all the excitement of owning a garment without paying through the nose for an original. |
