T58362 is in a batch of 360 carriers made by Sentinel Wagon contract number T2035 listed as 3" Mortar carriers So i guess she is British nice one buddy if the plates are missing Nigel Watson may be able to give you more info ie month and year of manufacture etc etc.
once again I am very jealous !!! looking at the rear axle I am no doubt wrong but it would appear that it is a truck axel rather than a carrier axle (from the lugs on the drive tubes) not that it matters merely something i noticed buddy.

The numbers are definatly there in front of the driver but you may have to clean them up a bit. They are on the top edge wright on top of the window. Very nice find .

Some of the early Carriers were built with truck axles. At least some of the early Cnd ones were.

Serial numbers
Guys, as far as I know, you dont find serial numbers on English carriers, where you find serial numbers on Canadian carriers.
As far as axles go, English carriers were fitted with standard Ford commercial axles(enclosed prop shaft). I dont know, but maybe, Richard, the difference you are talking about is the difference between an English, and a Canadian carrier. Then of course, Ford changed it axle, from the 1938 model (splined pinion) to the 1940 model(taper and key) as is the difference between an Australian LP2 and an LP2A, but thats another story.

It's stamped on the angle iron on the rear of the carrier. The one that goes across the rear armour, I don't know buy your pics if it is still there. But your "T" no. and build date is on the edge of the front armour infront of the driver. Oh sorry but I was thinking canadian so they may be in a different place.
