Looks like a C15A with a Lend-Lease cab and a few panels.

Where was it? Why wasn't it at Corowa?

Default I think you're right

Yes, with a closer look they are split diffs and that's a Ford step.

This vehicle is currently for sale on E-bay. Item no 200003314936.
While the guards appear to be rather severely cut back, is the body an Ambulance body? Any comments?

Default I.D.

Good find, Tony!

You're right and it is an ambulance as supplied early war to the RAAF, and in fairly original shape too. The guards are correct, but the body has been reclad as the original was canvas-skinned. There was also a window on each side of the body and lower lockers. Be a good project for someone.

Here's a pic of one I took at Point Cook around 1973. They may still have it.

Out of above I assume that it is a Chevrolet CC60. But the front bumper makes me wondering. It is the same I know from the LRDG-trucks; can anybody give me some info about "my" truck?

Default The 'Oddity'

The oddity: I think it was originally a Tim V put-together from bits back in the 1990s when he was at Mullengandra, now with Ron F at Seymour.

If it is the same vehicle I remember, it was Tim's 'yard truck' with tools, compressor, etc stacked in the back. I was bounced around in it several times.
