Default Combat Wheels/rims

I see reference to 'combat wheels/rims (usally in the for sale section of MVPA's "SUPPLY LINE"). What makes a 'combat rim' different from a civilian rim?

Dave, "combat rims" are split rims. This term is usually used by Jeep people. Civvy Jeep rims are one-piece. People who drive CMPs know that real trucks have split rims
