Humber FV1600 series truck for sale on ebay. Starting price of $150.

Thanks for the post Scott.
Always interesting to see your own writing so appreciated that it is cut and pasted for use by someone else...
Rust is the biggest issue as normal for the Humber, obviously present in the bonnet, door bottom, cab rear lower and roof.
Ignition switch has been modified and the restored Humber shown has a home made tray, not the original tub that is missing from the sale vehicle.
That said, this is a lot of truck for the money, and the chances are that it would indeed probably start and drive with a couple of batteries and petrol, stopping would be another issue.

Dave, notice the handle on the drivers seat adjuster.
Rich.

Yes Rich, May be worth a trip just to get the handle. If I had the room and the transport available I may even bid for it, just a little to far away and just a little to heavy for the tandem to cope with over that distance. 100% correct about the rust Rich, even without looking I just know that it would be riddled with it. Every Humber has something left in it that the last one did not, a never ending circle my friend.

Also noticed the restored picture of "You know who's" Humber, hope they asked for permission to use it!!!!!!!!

Dave.

For the record, sale price $356.
Hope it's gone to a good home.
Rich
